A British tourist put her holiday on hold to get revenge on her boyfriend after she found out he had cheated on her on a trip. She was caught throwing her clothes and other belongings into a hotel pool in Egypt.
According to the English newspaper Mirror, the couple visited the African country as a romantic trip. However, during the tour, the woman discovered that her partner had jumped the fence on his previous holiday in Ibiza, Spain.
Devastated by the infidelity, the woman decided to get revenge. She packed his clothes and other belongings in a suitcase and went to the hotel pool where they were staying. Once exposed, the man ran after the woman in the resort’s common area to stop her.
Many guests, enjoying a sunny day on the terrace, were surprised by the couple’s screams. A tourist identified as Chelsi Carver observed the scene and recorded it on her cell phone.
In the footage, the couple can be seen running around the pool until the woman opens her suitcase and throws all of her boyfriend’s clothes in the water, telling everyone around that he has cheated on her.
Then the two argue again and exchange insults. “I hope you get kicked out of here,” cried the distraught man, still chanting fatphobic phrases at her.
The video was shared by Chelsi on her TikTok profile and the post racked up over 250,000 views with the wry caption: “This is what happens when you get caught jumping the fence in Ibiza”.
“We took a break”?
British tabloid The Sun reached out to her exboyfriend, whose identity has not been revealed, to hear his side of the story. According to him, there was no treason. The exboyfriend claims that by the time they traveled to Ibiza they had already ended their relationship, so he feels no obligation to the woman.
“We flew to Egypt and on the plane I told her I was dating someone else,” he explained. “She acted like nothing happened. But the incident happened while I was drinking by the pool and she got a text from someone confirming my new relationship.”
According to him, the two decided to spend their holidays in Egypt as friends, as the tickets and hotel accommodation were bought long ago and they feared suffering losses if they were cancelled.
