A DNA test ended up completely changing the life of a couple who had been together for six years and lived in the United States.
The results of the investigation showed that both were nothing more and nothing less than biological brothers. The story got people talking and the report was published on the Reddit page.
The couple’s goal was to find out more information about their ancestors. After a month, the result came out and changed the lives of the lovers.
“I was excited to find out about our origins, but before I even got to it, I discovered that we are brothers,” the girl explains.
“I ordered two (tests) for us, we spit into the tube and sent them out. It took about a month for the results to come back and I was excited to see what we were, but before I could get to it I saw that we were brothers. I was surprised to say the least,” he added.
Without being identified, the 30yearold woman said she was adopted as a child but only found out about it when she was a teenager.
The 32yearold partner went through the same situation and the common point of adoption ultimately led to them quickly becoming closer.
“I’ve never met someone and been instantly attracted to them. Now I know that comfort and familiarity exists because he is my brother,” he said in the Reddit post.
Posting on the platform under the handle LetsSinWith, she said: “I’m 30 and my brother is 32. I’ll be calling him my boyfriend for most of the time I’m writing this. I feel weird about it. I was adopted when I was a baby, but I didn’t know I was adopted until I was in high school.”
“We did everything a couple who has been together for six years can do. We told each other we loved each other, we had sex, we celebrated birthdays, we met each other’s families,” she said in the post.
