In the comments, internet users were quick to question whether the piercing was real. “Guys, piercings all over the face are okay, now in the eyes too? “The limit has already been crossed,” one of them wrote. “Did that eye piercing hurt, girl?” asked another. “She doesn’t have an eye piercing, does she? However, the situation isn’t quite what it seems… Breeze actually wears a prosthetic because she lost her eye after she was diagnosed with ocular melanoma, a rare type of cancer. “I was pregnant with my second child in 2019 and was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer that develops in the cells that produce pigments. The doctors said that because of my type of cancer, we had to act quickly or it could spread to my liver,” she said.
The American revealed that the first alternative treatment was gamma radiation. If successful, the eye would be kept. However, after a year of treatment, the tumor became even more aggressive. Therefore, her eyeball has to be surgically removed. “I chose to have my eye removed because I wanted to survive for my children,” Breeze said.
She shares her experiences with eye cancer and her very different prostheses with her followers on social media. However, Breeze warns against finding a good ophthalmologist, a professional who makes prosthetics. “You have to find the right ophthalmologist who is the perfect fit for you, who will make the prosthesis you want and adapt it perfectly to the shape of your eye,” he explained.

As for the piercing prosthesis, although the jewelry is there, it is in an acrylic layer. It is not recommended to place piercings or other objects in the eye area unless recommended by a doctor. Injuries to the eyeball can pose a threat to vision.
