Woman Makes Peace With Mouse After Animal Appears In Her House And Starts Living In Her Kitchen

It’s common to hear that people often make friends with unfamiliar animals like dogs, cats, and birds when they invade their homes. And with the mouse, would it be common? It may seem strange to some, but things happened differently with Monica Canova. The report was taken from the portal The Dodo.

The mouse shared the same house with Monica Canova for some time and currently lives in her kitchen. Though uninvited, peace was fully sealed between the beast and man. In fact, the mouse was even given a name now known as Mousey.

Although the duo are in the prime of their friendship, it wasn’t always like this. With the discovery of the small intruder, Canova initially reacted colder to the intruder animal. However, both quickly sealed the peace.

“When I first saw him, I was like, ‘Well, that’s kind of gross,'” Canova told The Dodo. “But when I approached him, he had the cutest, most perfect little ears. [Ele] looked at me as if to say, ‘Hello!’ And I just couldn’t let it happen.”

Since they began a friendship, Mousey has kept to himself and occasionally reappears. When he shows up at the house, Canova still has that unexpected and positive feeling about him.

While many find it difficult to live peacefully with a mouse in their home, Canova saw things differently and learned to embrace the idea. The woman decided to act in this way so that she would not have to expel him.

“As much as having a mouse as a roommate isn’t all that nice, I feel really bad about having to push her out,” Canova said, noting that Mousey seems to have genuinely enjoyed being a part of the house . “I think he thinks he owns the house.”
