Wonder the Blackhawks beat the Bruins

Many thought the Boston Bruins’ surrender against the Chicago Blackhawks would be easy, but it was more the underdogs who edged out the powerful “Oursons” 6-3 at the United Center on Tuesday night.

This duel was like David versus Goliath, with the Bruins topping the National League with 105 points and 50 wins. The poor “Hawks”, with 23 wins and 52 points this season, they don’t even have half the harvest of their daily opponents.

Chicago had the full third period, scoring four goals in the process. The hero was Taylor Raddysh, who gave his team the win with a hat trick. The former Tampa Bay Lightning completed his hat trick in an empty net and caused the crowd to explode with joy. Boris Katchouk also got three points with the win.

The only drop of bitterness on the part of the Blackhawks: goalkeeper Petr Mrazek had to leave the game due to injury. The Czech had completed 16 shots in 28 minutes and 48 seconds, with Alex Stalock blocking 23 of the Bruins’ 26 shots as a substitute.

Boston appeared to have a date with history as it had an opportunity to break the Montreal Canadiens’ record 132 points, but the three losses in four games could thwart plans. This is the first time this season that the Bruins have suffered back-to-back regular-time losses.
