If you’re new to Wordle and not quite sure how to play it, here’s how the popular puzzle game works.
Every day, players are given six chances to guess a new five-letter word. You will need to use the elimination process to get the right answer.
For each guess, letter tiles will appear in one of three colors. If a letter tile turns grey, the letter does not appear in the word you are guessing.
If the tile turns yellow, it means that the letter you guessed is in the word, just in the wrong place. If the tile turns green, the letter is in the word and in the right place.
The app keeps track of your stats, showing the number of correct answers you’ve given and your winning streak.
If you fail to solve the puzzle, you will have to wait until the next day for the new Wordle to be released.

• Don’t use the same letter twice in the initial guess.
• Try to use a pair of vowels in your first guess, especially “A” and “E”.
• Avoid letters like ‘X’, ‘Z’ and ‘Q’ until you know what the answer is.
• “Crane” is a good starting word, and “GHOUL” is a good second guess.
