Lisa Vanderpump work crews demolish restaurant…before deadline

Lisa VanderpumpThe LA restaurant that bears his name is finally closing – and it looks like the work crews are preparing to tear it down before the official closing date.
TMZ obtained photos taken on Tuesday that show PUMP looking empty and deserted… albeit with a couple of guys busy dumping crap into a moving truck – including some bits of a gate that once lined the premises’ exterior.
As you can see, there’s still a lot to be done before Wednesday…that’s the day LV announced that PUMP is closing its doors for good. Apparently no one dines there on the 4th.
Remember that a few days ago the place was completely packed… that was probably the last time PUMP served anyone. The cast and crew of “Vanderpump Rules” were also there, and yes – the cameras rolled to capture it one last hurrah at the joint.
It’s certainly the end of an era – Lisa opened this eatery more than a decade ago while she was starring on Real Housewives…which did so well she got her own show out of it.
When it comes to why PUMP is closing in the first place – the good, old-fashioned, cold-blooded capitalism that Lisa and her husband, ken todd, have been on the winning side year after year. Of course we’re talking about rising rents…which totaled a million dollars.
Lisa and co. have been waving people over to their other restaurants in town…including SUR and TomTom – which they co-own Sandoval And black. We hope you get full while you can… because PUMP is gone baby. Unfortunately no further orders here.
