(CNN) The World Baseball Classic will conclude as Team USA take on Japan in an epic championship game to decide who takes home the WBC crown.
Both teams impressed throughout the tournament and deserve their place in the finals – giving fans a brilliant climax to an incredible baseball tournament.
The finals will now also be an opportunity to see the imperious Shohei Ohtani against his irrepressible Los Angeles Angels teammate Mike Trout.
How do you see the final?
Team USA and Team Japan will go head-to-head in the championship match at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
The game begins Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. ET and will be streamed via the FOX Sports app and FOXsports.com.
Alternatively, the game will also be shown on FS1 on TV.
Team USA defeated Cuba 14-2 to secure their place in the WBC Finals.
How did both teams get here?
Japan has not yet lost a game during the WBC tournament and, unlike the USA, has a 100 percent winning record before the finals.
Led by the always brilliant Ohtani, Japan mastered the group stage to perfection.
‘Samurai Japan’ scored an incredible 38 runs in their four group stage games before defeating Italy 9-3 in the quarter-finals.
However, the semifinals were far more challenging for Japan. The team faced a strong Mexico squad that had already beaten Team USA in the groups, and Japan trailed 5-4 en route to ninth place.
Angels star Ohtani led the inning with a double before Masataka Yoshida was the first to walk. With runners on first and second, Munetaka Murakami performed.
The 23-year-old smashed a walk-off double in deep midfield, letting Ohtani and Yoshida score and handing Japan their most dramatic semi-final victory.

On the other hand, Team USA had a more challenging road to the finals than its finalist.
Mark DeRosa’s team lost 5-11 to Mexico before overcoming Colombia 3-2 in the final game of the group stage.
Then came a tough Quarterfinal match against Venezuela: The USA found themselves 7-5 at the top of the Round of 16, playing loaded bases against Trea Turner.
The Philadelphia Phillies shortstop was the calmest man in the field, smashing a huge bomb in left field to give Team USA the lead in what he described as the “biggest win” of his career.
A much easier test followed next as Team USA dominated Cuba 14-2 in the semifinals to reach the championship game.
Fans will be mesmerized by the prospect of a USA-Japan final where ‘Shotime’ will take on some of the biggest names in baseball – including his superstar teammate Trout.
