World Economic Forum in Davos begins with speech by Volodymyr Zelensky

After a two-year break due to the pandemic, celebrities from the business and political world have been gathering in Davos since yesterday. For the first time, not against a snowy backdrop, because the conference in the Swiss Alps was moved from winter to spring.

However, the global political situation can be seen as a bit icy. “We are worse than last year, but better than next year,” said World Economic Forum (WEF) President Börge Brende recently in an interview with Handelsblatt. The conference (which starts today and runs until Thursday) will focus on several crises: the pandemic, climate change and the war in Ukraine.
