Palme d'Or, Golden Globes and five Oscar nominations: “Anatomy of a Fall” by Justine Triet continues her meteoric rise and conquest of America. Surrounded by her team, the director was overcome with emotion as the nominations were announced. However, the film was not initially chosen to defend the colors of France.
A Miss Japan of Ukrainian origin, a house fairy mouse and a frozen alligator
Another figure who was not supposed to represent her country: a young woman of Ukrainian origin was chosen Miss Japan. For the first time, the jury crowned a naturalized citizen who has lived in the country for 20 years. While a British pensioner wondered who was cleaning up his workshop at night, his infrared camera detected the presence of a tiny house fairy mouse. When the temperature fell below -8°C in Texas, USA, an alligator became trapped under the ice. He allowed ice to form around his snout in order to survive.
