WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash speaks darkly about his son’s sudden death

In October, Kevin Nash experienced every parent’s worst nightmare.

WWE Hall of Famer’s son Tristen, 26, died after suffering a seizure and cardiac arrest.

Nash struggles to cope with the loss of his son. At the 12-week mark since Tristen’s death on Monday, Nash appeared to indicate he’s recently had suicidal thoughts.

“Time flies when you have a gun in your mouth. I mean, time flies when you’re having fun,” Nash said on his Kliq This podcast.

Nash’s co-host Sean Oliver was quick to try to talk Nash off topic.

“Don’t play like that. You have guns so you can’t say those things,” Oliver said.

Nash replied, “I can do whatever I want. As long as I leave a note.”

“Every morning when I wake up, the first thing I realize is that there are now two people in my house instead of three,” Nash continued. “And the third person isn’t on vacation or staying with friends or going out late. He’s never coming back. And then I sit up in bed with absolutely nothing to do, and it’s like, ‘So, why am I getting out of bed?'”

The father-and-son duo quit drinking “cold turkey” days before Tristen’s death, Nash revealed.

“Alcohol is the worst… it’s a nasty drug,” Nash said a week after his son’s death. “Everyone out there, if you haven’t been drinking, you’ve probably done yourself an incredible service. If you drink and you’re struggling and you know it’s affecting your life and you know it’s affecting your health, you can do it.” I don’t see the damage it’s doing.”

Tristen died on Scott Hall’s 64th birthday. Hall and Nash were wrestling partners for years.
