WWE NXT, Orlando, Fla

– Tonight is WWE NXT. The show begins with events from last Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock, a synopsis of the show here.
Johnny Gargano picks up the mic and asks where we left off. The last time he was on NXT, Grayson Waller hit him in the back with a chair. Gargano asks fans to watch his back. Last time he was here he said he wanted to show his son how to be the best man. And to be the best, you have to finish what you started. It’s the WrestleMania adventure and he’s here to finish his story. 15 months ago his story ended with a fishtail ending.
Gargano says he was on the mat with Grayson Waller. Waller took her moment and conclusion from her last night at the company. Limit he liked what Waller was doing. The last one to do so was Tommaso Ciampa, the greatest NXT champion in history. So he looked at Waller and what did he do? Waller had two chances and Waller failed. Waller began complaining and blaming everyone but himself. Waller didn’t respect the fans, the people behind the scenes and NXT. A lot has changed in 15 months, but no matter what division he’s in, NXT will always be his home. And Waller can’t mess with anyone’s house. Vic Joseph rises from the commentary table and shares a live Instagram video of Grayson Waller watching NXT from Gargano’s private home! Gargano leaves the race.
– In a video earlier today, Wes Lee pulls into the parking lot. Axiom follows him and says no one will take his place for the Open Challenge. Lee says the game will be up in eight hours. Axiom says it’s okay. Lee says they’ll go eat then.
– In the parking lot, Johnny Gargano drives his car quickly to his house.

D’Angelo says they’re only taking him to the parking lot to hit him with the crowbar. Breakker thanks D’Angelo but declines the offer. D’Angelo reaches out to Lorenzo and says that after everything Lorenzo has done, they need to get back to the tag team titles. Lorenzo likes the offer.
– Ilya Dragunov enters the ring and takes the microphone. Dragunov says his WWE career has been life changing for him and his family. Opportunities he never thought possible. But with success comes JD McDonagh, who limits his momentum. It could have been avoided, but now he has no choice. He needs to continue his rise in NXT, and that’s done by getting rid of JD McDonagh. McDonagh arrives and says it’s impossible to avoid. Dragunov says his obsession with him will bring him down. McDonagh says Dragunov kicked him out of NXT UK and now Dragunov is chasing him. Dragunov cannot give it up. Dragunov says pain makes him alive and makes a difference in his life, and he chose this life. McDonagh says Dragunov thinks he chooses pain and is in control of his life, but it doesn’t work that way. What Dragunov thinks he has to endure is also the reason why he is not a champion. He will never tire of finding new ways to hurt him. It will take a long time. Dragunov says he promises to finish this story next week because when he’s finished there will be nothing left. McDonagh enters the ring and says next week will be hard to watch. McDonagh goes for a headbutt but Dragunov avoids him and the two trade blows. The two fight for the parking space.

– Behind the scenes, Tyler Bate does yoga practice with Thea Hail. Andre Chase comes to see Duke Hudson. Hudson says people judge by track record. Chase agrees with Hudson, people just think about it, but Chase U was born. Chase U is more than a track record, Chase U is where students can grow and find their way. Even Hudson has evolved since he now believes in the charts, before he just played poker and shaved his head.
– Featured on Twitter is a video of Grayson Waller visiting Johnny Gargano’s home.
– Behind the scenes, the wrestlers fight to reach the ring.
– Wes Lee comes into the ring for his Open Challenge and everyone fights in the ring. Lee decides to jump on everyone at the bottom of the ring and fight with the group.

– Backstage, McKenzie asks Jacy Jayne for her opinion on the loss. Jayne says Gigi Dolin didn’t do anything, even on her best day, Dolin isn’t that good. However, McKenzie says Dolin won the match. Jayne tells him to bring a real Newz. Dolin severed his shoulder because Dolin can’t compete against a 100% person. It’s pathetic to consider the result a win. When she returns, she promises to break Dolin’s heart and face.
single game

– Backstage, Brooks Jensen asks Kiana James if she needs anything. James says she wants to understand why she was attacked by two witches. Fallon Henley and Briggs arrive. James asks where Henley was during the attack. Henley says she didn’t even know James had a qualifier so they shouldn’t hide anything. The two argue to try to resolve their conflict before Stand and Deliver.
– Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams enter the ring. Next is the champion Bron Breaker. Hayes asks if someone should oversee the signing of the contract. Breakker says they can do it alone and direct. Pretty deadly. Prince says that like the hosts of Stand and Deliver, it’s normal that they come to organize this signing.
Hayes says Breakker carried the title with full responsibility and Breakker deserves credit. But on April 1st you can feel it, it’s a changing of the guard and it will push the championship even further. As he did with the North American title to change it to the A title. At Stand and Deliver, Breakker will be second. Breakker says he disagrees with that ending of the statement, but Hayes flipped the North American title because Hayes wasn’t ready for the main title. But that’s okay because he wants to face this modern day Hayes who defeated Ricochet and Apollo Crews. Breakker says Hayes will be absent for the first time on April 1. Wilson says it’s a nice trade. Hayes says in Los Angeles he doesn’t want the Bron Breakker with his anger issues, the guy who inducts his father into the Hall of Fame, or the guy who smiles on the posters. He wants the Bron Breakker who tapped Tommaso Ciampa who won WarGames, the guy no one can stop. Which gets even better when Breakker has given it his all and it’s not enough.
Breakker says Hayes needs to show him he’s the one, more than just a t-shirt. This is a match that has the potential to be the best match in NXT history. The two have unified titles. Hayes says it’s big, WrestleMania weekend with the younger guys, but it’s nothing new. He knows he’s going to deliver the goods to Stand and Deliver, but he needs to see if Breakker can do the same. Hayes signs the contract and says he will come out on top. Breakker signs confirm the same. Pretty Deadly confirms the match. Hayes and Breakker shake hands. The two wanted to leave the ring, but Prince says people want drama. Breakker and Hayes take off their shirts and slam Pretty Deadly across the table! The show ends with a face-to-face conversation between Breakker and Hayes.
