– Tonight is WWE RAW, the red show begins with the arrival of Cody Rhodes and his walk backstage.
We find Drew McIntyre in the ring that demands attention. According to McIntyre, last week's match against Seth Rollins was all or nothing. He wanted the title and he didn't have it. He rehearsed the match in his head and tasted the match. He's been thinking all week and maybe Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins were right, he's holding himself back from moving forward. He needs to take some time, he needs to leave WWE for a while.
McIntyre says he has thought about it again and also believes Damian Priest's interference cost him the match. Why did Priest want to make money during the game and not wait until he was the champion after the game? The priest betrayed him. Additionally, CM Punk returns with open arms. Maybe he should go for nine years to be welcomed as a hero. CM Punk's music interrupts Drew. CM Punk says we're in Roddy Piper land. Piper is a legend known for talking, as is CM Punk, but is Drew known for talking? Since his return, Drew has done nothing but talk. Drew mentioned his name, so he came here to hear the song in person. Drew McIntyre says he has to congratulate Punk, it's been a month and Punk is still here. People said that punk was costing the company more money every day. Punk wants attention, he wants headlines.
McIntyre says he understands, but he doesn't like it personally. He traveled around with Punk for years, he knows the real CM Punk. It goes back to when Punk was the champion and the leader of the place backstage. At that moment he needed a leader to help him. But today he faces obstacles and overcomes them. But he didn't have that power back then. He had lost someone close to him and his career was not going well. He needed a real leader to help him, but Punk saw him as a threat and that would never happen. He talked to Randy, but Randy had his demons and couldn't help him. Punk is a straight edge (someone who lives without alcohol), he is a clean demon. A narcissist who takes advantage of others. He didn't need anyone to become a leader. He got fired and worked hard to be who he is today. In the nine years that Punk was gone, he became their leader.
Punk says he's been mentioned many times, but never as a leader. Because he always led by example. As a savior, you could support Straight Edge and live that life. But McIntyre is talking about demons. If he wasn't a leader, who did McIntyre look like when he left? He was it. During his departure, McIntyre won the main events and the Royal Rumbles. He's back stronger and faster. And he's going to win the Royal Rumble and McIntyre is just as frustrated as Seth. He is not a demon, he is Satan himself when provoked. McIntyre's darkness doesn't come from him being a good guy until the time is gone. And it looks like it's about time. He's not here to make friends, he's here to win the Royal Rumble and main event WrestleMania.
McIntyre says he was the main promoter of WrestleMania, but Punk was not. It was during COVID-19, a time when the company needed a face. It was a tough moment and Punk probably would have collapsed like he always does. When he meets Punk at the Royal Rumble, he throws him out of the ring and wins the match. He will be going to main event WrestleMania, but this time it will be for him and not the fans. Punk says he'll make an example and give up before knocking him out. There is one person who can stop him from achieving his goals and that is himself. He fixed this problem a long time ago. Drew can't stop him from winning the Royal Rumble, nor can Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. From leader to leader, since he is so nice, he will take McIntyre out of the match last. Punk leaves the ring.
– Judgment Day comes to the ring.
– Back after the break, backstage, Tommaso Ciampa says that today was his first game 19 years ago. A long road for DIY and they want the tag team titles. They have to win tonight. The resolution for 2024 is: DIY as the new tag team champions.

– Backstage, Jackie is with Becky Lynch to get her comments on her loss to Nia Jax. Becky says Nia told her before the fight to imagine what would happen with a full punch. She started thinking of options and Nia hit with all her might and yes, she was bleeding. Nia won, but she got back up to announce her place in the Royal Rumble match. She wasn't in the hospital, she's still standing. So either Nia is less strong or she has more endurance. It's not the end, but perhaps the beginning.

– Back, backstage, Jackie stops Ludwig Kaiser to find out why he did that. Kaiser shouts that it's not his fault, it's Kofi's. He was here because of Kofi. Thanks to Kofi, he carries the full weight of the empire. Kofi took Vinci's lead, so he took Kofi's lead tonight.
– Michael Cole is in the ring and introduces us Nia Jax for an interview. Cole says Nia Jax surprised the world when she defeated Becky Lynch on RAW. Nia asks why it was a surprise but it wasn't. She's another Nia Jax. What would be amazing would be breaking Michael Cole's face. She is now more focused on the Royal Rumble. Because she will destroy 29 other women to get her spot at WrestleMania and no one can stop her. Rhea Ripley's music begins and she enters the ring to a standing ovation. Ripley says everyone knows Nia likes to talk loudly. Nia acts like she already won the Royal Rumble, but last year she got it out of the ring, she hasn't forgotten that. Yes, Nia beat Becky Lynch, that's a great achievement, but Becky is no Rhea Ripley. So Nia should stop acting like she controls the division before defeating them.
Ripley says Nia should keep her name out of her mouth before she actually wins the Rumble Match. Nia says she'll give Ripley the honors. Ripley is a dominant champion, but upon her return she beats Ripley down. She is not champion today because Ripley is afraid to face her in a singles match. So after her victory at the Royal Rumble, she will choose Ripley and have no other excuse than to fight her. They will meet again soon.
– We're premiering a video of The Rock's return to RAW last Monday.

Carter also takes Green out of the ring. Carter superkicks Niven and charges, but Niven hits him with an STO. Green takes the tag and puts Niven in the corner. The truth is that after JD McDonagh's departure, they are now a real family without conflict. He sends a message to all wrestlers: Judgment Day is always here to talk, laugh and give love.
– Behind the scenes, Judgment Day watched R-Truth's part. JD McDonagh says they have to stop. Damian Priest says it was funny, you have to admit that. Rhea Ripley asks when they're going to stop this joke. The priest says he will deal with the truth in due course. Ripley says now you have to think about home improvement. Finn Balor says DIYers will need CPR (cardiac life support). The priest says Drew is not his enemy, he is a joke. Ripley says McDonagh has to take care of Miz tonight. McDonagh agrees.

– Behind the scenes, Judgment Day is in shock. Ripley says this can't happen again. She will meet Adam Pearce to talk about her plan for next week.
– Back, Seth Rollins enters the ring and takes the microphone. Seth welcomes everyone to Monday Night Rollins. He is a visionary, a revolutionary, our heavyweight champion Seth Rollins. Seth says we're getting closer to Adventure WrestleMania. His record at WrestleMania is pretty good with MITB contracts or titles won. But he never brought a world title to WrestleMania. He was never listed as a champion. But that changes this year, because 2024 is his year. He worked too hard and too long. He took a title that didn't exist last year and turned it into the industry's most important prize. He did as promised and defended his title. But the work isn't done yet.
Seth Rollins says he has a question: Who will he beat on the biggest stage of them all? The RAW roster is so complete that he doesn't know. The music of Jinder Mahal cbegins and he enters the ring. Mahal says he was a bigger revolutionary in five minutes last week than Seth Rollins was in five years. Mahal says Rollins just wants to entertain these clowns. Rollins always mentions the same thing. Rollins has no value, Rollins just likes to show off his outfits. Mahal says he beat Randy Orton with no problem, Rollins shouldn't look at him like that or treat him disrespectfully. He will not tolerate this disrespect. This is the first time he's gotten Rollins' attention in a long time. Rollins says Mahal is right, people were avoiding her, but that was on purpose. Everyone wanted to forget about it until last week.
Rollins says he needs to emphasize the fact that Mahal is coming back after the Rock's humiliation. But he doesn't like that Mahal is ruining his party. So yes, Mahal has his attention. Mahal doesn't want to be forgotten any longer, so he invites her to beat him in front of everyone to get noticed. Mahal does nothing. Rollins says it's the same old Mahal. Rollins was about to leave the ring, but Mahal hits him in the back! Rollins pushes him away and goes for a stomp, but Mahal avoids it and escapes.
