– Tonight is WWE RAW, the red show begins with a video of the events at Payback last Saturday (view results here). The commentators then welcome us and introduce the show program.
– New WWE RAW superstar Jey Uso comes out of the crowd. Jey Uso says he’s always wanted to experience this moment, welcome to Monday Night RAW! He’s only been gone for three weeks, but it feels like a long time. He had to argue with his family on TV every week and reached his breaking point. And then he got the unexpected call from Cody Rhodes. For this reason he is on RAW himself. Maybe some people won’t be happy to see it. He’s here alone and the main event Jey Uso is in our city! Sami Zayn’s music starts and he comes. Sami says Jey is right, a lot of people on RAW will have trouble watching him on RAW. Even he and Kevin Owens didn’t always see eye to eye with Jey. But the problems don’t matter. Now it’s between him and Jey Uso. He wanted to be the first to look at Jey Uso and say he was happy to see him here.
Zayn says he understands how difficult it must have been, but Jey did it. Jey is free and stands alone. Jey is really main event Jey Uso. There is a history between the two, he didn’t expect to become her best friend on the first night. But he wanted to tell him he was proud of Jey. Sami wants to shake his hand, Jey refuses. Sami says it’s okay, if Jey is ready to talk, he’s here. Jey stops Sami and says that wasn’t very UCEY. Sami and Jey hug each other. Sami and Jey leave the stage, Drew McIntyre and Riddle arrive and are not happy to see Jey again. Sami tells her to give Jey a chance.
– Backstage, Ricochet talks to Adam Pearce and says he needs another chance. SummerSlam didn’t go as expected. Adam Pearce leaves Ricochet to find Seth Rollins further away. Pearce says Rollins can’t be here according to the doctor. Rollins says he’s fine, he can walk so he can fight. Ricochet says Rollins and Nakamura had a great match, he has to emphasize his respect for Rollins. But Rollins doesn’t have to carry the entire show on his shoulders. Rollins says he’s fine.
– Back after the break, the Vikings arrive for the game.
Tornado Tag Team Match
Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle vs. Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar), accompanied by Valhalla
At the end of the fight, Riddle goes to the corner, but Valhalla distracts him. Erik takes the opportunity to kick Riddle. The Viking Raiders prepare for a table hold, but Kofi Kingston comes in and beats both Vikings. Erik dodges a punch and Kofi accidentally does his Trouble In Paradise on Riddle! The Viking Raiders throw Kofi onto McIntyre at the bottom of the ring. They then powerbomb Riddle through a table for the three count.

– We present a video about the Intercontinental Champions.
– Seth Rollins enters the ring and takes the microphone. Rollins welcomes us to Monday Night Rollins. He is the revolutionary and visionary Seth Rollins. At Payback, Shinsuke Nakamura did exactly what he said. Nakamura threw bombs off his back throughout the match. There were times when he didn’t even think he could get up or continue the game. But last time he looked, he was still world champion.
Rollins says he beat Nakamura, but it was Nakamura who was able to leave the building on his feet while in a wheelchair. He wants to fix this problem. So if Nakamura can come, join him now! Nakamura’s music begins and he takes the stage. Rollins tells him to go to the ring. Nakamura remains silent and looks at him. Rollins says there is a way to get Nakamura in the ring, he has to give him what he wants again. Nakamura wants it and it’s a rematch for the WWE World Title here and now! Nakamura approaches the ring but eventually backs away. Nakamura answers in Japanese. Rollins says he doesn’t understand anything but assumes Nakamura has accepted his challenge so we can ring the bell. Nakamura replies “No.” Rollins asks him to “sorry.” Nakamura says no again. Rollins says he doesn’t understand if there will be a rematch for the title, yes or no? Nakamura answers no. Rollins says he understands it’s Labor Day, but it’s RAW so Nakamura better get to work.
Rollins finds Nakamura on the stage and the two trade blows. Security comes to separate the two. Nakamura takes advantage of a moment of inattention to kick Rollins in the back. Ricochet arrives to help security fight off Nakamura.
– Backstage, Seth Rollins is angry at Adam Pearce for stopping the fight. Pearce says he just wants to protect him. Rollins says he doesn’t need his help.
Single game
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ricochet
At the end of the match, Ricochet had the advantage over Nakamura at ringside. Nakamura decides to sit on a chair and hit Ricochet.
Winner: Ricochet by disqualification
– After the fight, Nakamura continues his attack and puts Ricochet’s head on a chair, but Seth Rollins arrives! Rollins starts beating up Nakamura, security separates the two but Rollins hits his security guards. Rollins goes after Nakamura, but Nakamura manages to push him into the steel step. Nakamura hits Rollins, but Ricochet threatens him with the chair and Nakamura escapes.
– Backstage, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest are watching the stage. Ripley tells him it won’t be the MITB briefcase tonight.
– Backstage, Jackie asks Zoey Stark if her partnership with Trish Stratus is over after Saturday. Zoey Stark says one thing you can’t do is that no one has the right to push her. Shayna Baszler comes in and says she was wondering when Stark was going to get rid of his chain and chain. She hoped that Stark would be able to have a match first. Stark says the two can face off tonight to see who is the toughest girl in WWE. Baszler says she can show him.
– THE Day of Judgment enters the ring. Back, Damian Priest calls on everyone to stand up for the golden clan. Dominik Mysterio says that at Payback they brought all the gold back to the clan. Finn Balor says we should also honor Dominik’s first birthday in Judgment Day. He would also like to thank Rhea Ripley for being the voice of reason. He had his ups and downs with Priest, but now they are champions. He would also like to thank JD McDonagh for helping him for 20 years. He would also like to thank him for being able to become a Grand Slam champion. Ripley said she gave an ultimatum and the pressure was on them. But Balor and Priest have proven that they are a real family, they are two brothers.
Ripley says one thing that bothers her is that everyone is talking about Jey Uso coming to RAW and not about winning Judgment Day. For them, the bloodline has fallen and Judgment Day is the strongest clan in WWE. JD McDonagh’s music interrupts Priest and he arrives. Priest said he was starting to like McDonagh and hoped it would be interesting. McDonagh says he took a bullet for their clan, so it would be nice to at least listen to him. McDonagh says Ripley said Judgment Day needed a change. McDonagh says Priest’s briefcase has to go. McDonagh says that Priest doesn’t need that briefcase anymore since they have all the gold now. McDonagh releases a purple “Money in the Bank” briefcase with a “Judgment Day” theme. The priest is happy, but Sami Zayn arrives.
Sami says Kevin Owens isn’t here tonight, but they need five people to win the titles. Zayn says he would never let that happen. When he looks at the ring, he sees not five champions, but five title thieves. Dominik was to receive a special beating for Payback. Does Dominik have the guts for it? McDonagh says Dominik won’t be fighting anyone tonight. If Sami wants to fight anyone, it’s him. Zayn says McDonagh deserves a beating too and he’ll get it tonight.
– Backstage, Gunther says Chad Gable thinks he can stop his legacy, but no. He will continue his legacy, Chad Gable’s little fairytale will end tonight. After his win tonight he will go down as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion.
– Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez talks to Adam Pearce and says they agree. Pearce says he will make this game official. Rodriguez goes, Chelsea Green comes. Pearce says Piper Niven wasn’t cleared by the doctor, so he wanted to talk about it. Green says tag team titles aren’t cursed like everyone says. Green said Pearce probably needs to talk to Rodriguez about how she failed at Payback. Rodriguez listened to the discussion behind it. Pearce conducts a match between the two officials.
Single game
Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Stark
At the end of the fight, Baszler blocked Stark’s jump and used a Kirifuda Clutch. Stark manages to fight back and gets up, but falls to the ground. Stark falls, stunned, and the referee stops the game.
Winner: Shayna Baszler via submission
– After the fight, the two wrestlers congratulate each other on the fight.
– Behind the scenes, Judgment Day talks JD McDonagh. Balor says McDonagh has done well for the clan and he can officially join them. Priest says he believes McDonagh still has something to prove. Balor says that without McDonagh they might not be able to become tag team champions. What does Dominik think about it? Dominik finds that he agrees with her choice. Rhea Ripley says she wants to see how she will do against Sami tonight.
– Back, Green enters the ring.
Single game
Raquel Rodriguez vs. Chelsea Green
At the end of the fight, Green slapped Rodriguez, a gesture that was not much appreciated. Rodriguez clotheslines Green and powerbombs him for a three count.
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez
– After the fight, Raquel Rodriguez said she spoke to Adam Pearce about Dominik and Rhea Ripley’s actions at Payback. She will have her rematch for the women’s title and Dominik will be banned from the ring! They’ll see each other next week for the championship game.
– Behind the scenes we find Alpha Academy. Chad Gable says he’s already in the history books. A college-educated Olympian turned wrestler. Tonight he will prove that he is more than just a team specialist. He will show that his desire to become champion is greater than Gunther’s desire.
– The Miz enters the ring.
– Drew McIntyre looks for Kofi Kingston backstage and he’s not happy. Matt Riddle tells McIntyre to calm down a bit. McIntyre says Kofi caused problems again. Kofi Kingston comes out and says it was an accident, he apologizes. McIntyre says he accidentally threw a chair at Xavier Woods and now Kofi at Riddle. Kofi says McIntyre isn’t the only one causing accidents. McIntyre says he’ll keep an eye out.
– The Miz is in the ring for his MizTV. The Miz says he didn’t lose at Payback, he was cheated because he showed who LA Knight really was. Tonight he has someone as his guest who can be transparent about it, he’s being named the greatest of all time… John Cena! John Cena’s music starts but no one comes. The cameraman moves as if John Cena were present but invisible. Miz confirms that “John Cena” is there. Miz says Cena will now be booed by the kids for his behavior at Payback. The crowd reacts. Miz says John Cena is here, we should see him like him. Miz says he can see John Cena through the years.
Miz asks if LA Knight paid John Cena to get a job. Miz asks if Cena planned this event to cheat on him. Miz says Cena agreed. The win should be deleted at Payback. Miz orders Cena to leave the ring. Apparently Cena doesn’t leave the ring as the Miz gets angry. Miz pushes the invisible Cena, Miz gets pushed, Miz pushes him away and does a Skull Crushing Finale. Miz says it’s nothing imaginary. Miz says he challenges LA Knight to a match, no tricks. If LA Knight accepts, LA Knight’s fate will end the same as tonight. He’ll delete it because he’s The Miz and he’s awesome.
– We present a video about the story between Gunther and Chad Gable.
– Back, backstage, Akira Tozawa sees Jey Uso and decides to leave. Jey continues his march and stops Adam Pearce. Pearce says he’s worried Jey Uso’s situation could get worse. He just learned that SmackDown will have the right to sign a wrestler from RAW for the Jey Uso substitution. A decision that could influence people’s opinion of Jey. Jey understands and leaves. Tommaso Ciampa comes in and says he wants to speak to Pearce in his office.
Single game
Sami Zayn vs JD McDonagh
At the end of the fight, Sami goes for his Helluva Kick, but Dominik Mysterio comes and pulls McDonagh out of the ring to save him. Sami comes out of the ring to defeat Dominik. McDonagh takes the opportunity to roll up Sami for the count of three.
Winner: JD McDonagh
– After the fight, Sami is angry and decides to attack Dominik at ringside. Sami goes for his Helluva Kick, but McDonagh pulls Sami out of the ring and knocks him into the steel step. McDonagh tells Dominik to escape. Sami takes the opportunity to execute an exploder suplex on McDonagh in the corner and follows with his Helluva Kick.
– Back, backstage, Damian Priest tells JD McDonagh that he did well. Judgment Day is proud. Dominik Mysterio goes to talk to Jey Uso. Dominik says they both come from a troubled family, a Hall of Famer father. He understands what Jey expects. Jey comes from a broken family, Jey has no family. Nobody loves him more than Jey. But when Ripley and Judgment Day got him back, he realized they were all the same. Jey needs to know that Judgment Day can come his way, Jey needs to think about it.
– It is announced that Cody Rhodes will be appearing on RAW next Monday.
Intercontinental Championship – Single Match
Chad Gable vs. Gunther (c)
At the end of the fight, Gunther goes to the corner, but Gable blocks him with a superplex. Gable goes to the corner and headbutts Gunther to cover him, but he blocks two. Gable follows with an ankle lock, but Gunther pushes him away. Gable goes for his German but Gunther blocks him and hits a sleeper but Gable turns it into an Olympic Slam. Gable pushes Gunther into the corner and gives him his bridge German suplex to cover him, but Gunther gets two! Gable launches a moonsault, Gunther tries to block it with his feet, but Gable converts it into an ankle lock! Gunther defends himself and pushes him away to kick him. Gunther goes into a sleeper, Gable gets up with Gunther on his back and knocks him down for a quick count, but Gunther fights back. Gunther hits him with a sleeper suplex and then hits a powerbomb! Gunther connects with a clothesline for a three count.
Winner: Günther
The show ends with the celebration of Gunther becoming the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in WWE history!
