WWE star Mark “The Undertaker” Calaway is heading Down Under next year to serve as the draw for an extravagant wrestling show in Western Australia.

The wrestling legend, 58, will appear at WWE’s Elimination Chamber extravaganza at Optus Stadium in Perth on Saturday, February 24.

The retired wrestling icon’s appearance at next year’s iconic WWE show is expected to attract many fans of the sport to Western Australia.

As he is retired, The Undertaker is unlikely to wrestle on the show and is expected to tell the audience stories about his career, The Sunday Times reports.

“It’s very intimate and no phones are allowed.” “I want this to be special for the people who go out and buy these tickets,” Calaway said in a statement.

“I have stories about my debut and some of the things that happened backstage the night of my debut.” Anything that happens backstage, things that happened, I tell stories about things that happened with me and Hulk “What happened to Hogan.”

Western Australia Premier Roger Cook announced on Thursday his state had secured the iconic WWE event, saying it would put WA on the “world stage”.

While it is unclear which other WWE stars will travel to the country for the event, Adelaide-born wrestling star Rhea Ripley, 26, is likely to headline it.

Ripley debuted as a main member of WWE’s main roster in 2021 and has since risen to fame, winning singles and tag team titles and remaining a member of the villainous faction The Judgment Day.

The show is also rumored to include 33-year-old Sydney native Grayson Waller, who was named to the main roster earlier this year.

Other Australian stars in the company include Bronson Reed and Indi Hartwell.

The Elimination Chamber traditionally hosts matches involving six competitors or teams, with two starting in the ring and four more trapped in pods around the ring.

A different pod will be opened periodically, with that participant joining the fight until all six have been introduced.

Players are eliminated one by one and the winner is the last one standing at the end of the game. The result is often that they are crowned champions of whatever title is at stake.

The first assumption is that Ripley will defend her title in an Elimination Chamber match in her home country.
