WWE presented its 2023 PLE “Survivor Series WarGames” live on November 25th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The show aired exclusively on the WWE Network.
– The WWE Survivor Series 2023 Pre-Show begins with a welcome from the panel consisting of Kayla Braxton, Jackie Redmond, Booker T, Wade Barrett and Peter Rosenberg.
– The jury presents the games of the evening.
– Behind the scenes, Byron Saxton meets with Santos Escobar to get his comments on his attack on Carlito. Santos Escobar says it was not an attack, but justice. Justice for all talents who lose their place in the name of a legacy. Carlito and Rey steal the spot from the others. Tonight he will show that their moment is over. Escobar says he will make Dragon Lee realize what a big mistake he made and what happens when you turn your back on him.
– The panel discusses the other games of the evening.
– The pre-show ends with a video of the WarGames game and the panel’s final comments.
WWE Survivor Series Rosemont, Illinois
The commentators are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.
– Tonight is WWE Survivor Series, the special show begins with the opening video presenting the PLE. The commentators greet us and the wrestlers arrive for the first match.
WarGames Match
Team Bianca Belair (Bianca Belair, Shotzi, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch) vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky and Kari Sane)
Becky and Bayley are the two wrestlers who start the match.
At the end of the fight, the wrestlers exchange blows and holds with objects. Charlotte goes to spear Sane, but Bayley takes the hit for Sane! Shotzi follows up with a senton from the corner on Bayley. Belair continues with her KOD on Bayley. The wrestlers take Bayley to the corner and Becky hits a man handle slam through the table for a three count.
Winner: Team Bianca Belair
– Backstage, wrestlers eat chips as they are the sponsor of the evening. Pretty Deadly comes in to get Otis’ chips, but the bowl falls to the floor. R-Truth collects the chips from the floor. R-Truth asks the wrestlers to gather and enjoy Tozawa’s dance.
– Jey Uso finds Sami Zayn backstage. Sami says he wants to talk about something before the match, Randy Orton still isn’t there. Jey says he hasn’t been here in two years, why wouldn’t he be here tonight? Zayn says whether Randy is here or not, there is a story. They both did the WarGames and tonight they will do it together or without Randy. The two hug each other.
– We present a video about the rivalry between Gunther and The Miz.
Intercontinental Championship – Single Match
The Miz vs. Gunther (c)
At the end of the match, Miz removes the protective padding from one corner to distract the referee. Miz takes the opportunity to give Gunther two low blows and a Skull Crushing Finale to cover him, but Gunther fights back for two. Miz goes for a second finisher, but Gunther hits a sleeper. Miz pushes him back into the corner without a cushion and quickly counts him out, but Gunther still fights back. Gunther clotheslines Miz away. Gunther follows with a splash and gives him Walls of Jericho. Miz goes for a cable, but Gunther takes him back to the middle of the ring to make him tap out.
Winner: Gunther via submission
– Behind the scenes we find the Day of Judgment. Dominik says he heard Randy Orton isn’t here tonight. Finn Balor says Orton will hurt them without coming or he will come and hurt them from the inside. The JD laughs.
– We present a video about the rivalry between Escobar and Lee.
Single game
Santos Escobar vs. Dragon Lee
At the end of the fight, Escobar hits a Canadian destroyer on Lee and uses his Phantom Driver for a three-pointer.
Winner: Santos Escobar
– In the parking lot, New Day arrives in a sponsored car. We see Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest continue to talk.
WWE Women’s World Championship – Singles Match
Zoey Stark vs Rhea Ripley (c)
At the end of the fight, Ripley blocks a punch from Stark and elbows him. Ripley continues her Riptide and counts to three.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
– Backstage, Seth Rollins talks to his partners and says he doesn’t know anything about Randy Orton. He doesn’t know if he’ll be there tonight. Cody Rhodes says he will be there, you have to trust him.
– We present a video about WarGames.
WarGames Match
Drew McIntyre and Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio) vs. Team Cody Rhodes (Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton).
Finn Balor and Seth Rollins start the match, although Randy Orton is still absent.
