WWE announced 78,453 fans in attendance for Night Two of WrestleMania 38 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
For the second time in a row, the announced number of visitors was significantly lower than the number of tickets distributed WrestleTix reported that 65,653 tickets were out.
WWE usually increases their attendances, but with the stadium suites that would make up a few thousand people and the various people working on the show, the actual number would be closer to the advertised number.
As previously mentioned, WWE announced 77,899 fans for Saturday night’s Night One of WrestleMania 38. WrestleTix reported that the actual number of tickets distributed was 65,719.
That brings the announced attendance for WrestleMania 38 to 156,352 across both nights. WrestleTix reports that the actual number of tickets distributed for the two-night event was 131,372.
WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan recently stated that they were hoping for 100,000 viewers each night of WrestleMania 38, but they clearly fell short of that goal.
For comparison, WrestleMania 32 also took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington in 2016, with an announced attendance of 101,763. In 2021, WWE announced a sell-out crowd of 25,675 fans who attended both nights of WrestleMania 37 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, which was limited due to COVID-19.
Stay tuned for more from WrestleMania 38.
