World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Bray Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, died of a heart attack on Thursday at the age of 36. According to a report by TMZ, the wrestler was napping with his fiancé at the time, Jojo Offerman, who was worried about an hour later when she heard his alarm clock go off without stopping.

The media reported that Mr Wyatt was found in his bed not breathing and turning blue. His girlfriend called 911 when her mother attempted CPR, but he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The tragic incident came months after the wrestler fell ill with Covid-19 and suffered heart complications as a result. Bray Wyatt had suffered a series of heart complications. The doctor recommended that he have a cardiac defibrillator with him.

While it’s unclear if it would have saved Mr Wyatt’s life, the defibrillator was not with him when he died and he was later found in his vehicle in the driveway, TMZ reported.

The media reported that Mr Wyatt was hospitalized with a heart condition a week before his death. On the morning of his death, he also met with the doctors, who recommended that he continue to wear the external cardiac defibrillator.

Bray Wyatt’s news was announced on Twitter by the company’s chief content officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

According to TMZ, Mr. Wyatt was a three-time World Champion in WWE, including the WWE Championship once and the Universal Championship twice. He took a brief hiatus from August 2018 to April 2019 and returned with a new character: The Fiend.
