Wynonna Judd worries fans as she looks ‘unsure’ and clings to jelly roll during CMA Awards duet: ‘There’s something wrong with her’

Wynonna Judd has left her fans worried after they noticed she seemed “outgoing” during her “bizarre” performance at the CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday night.

The 59-year-old singer, who has struggled with dizziness in the past, sang a duet with country singer Jelly Roll and appeared “unsteady.”

She held on to the singer’s arm throughout the performance, prompting fans to quickly take to social media to express their concerns.

“Wynonna Judd is sticking with Jelly Roll for the #CMAawards,” one X user (formerly Twitter) tweeted during the ABC broadcast.

Another wrote: “Something’s wrong with her. I hope she’s okay!!’

Wynonna showed no signs of failing health backstage in the press room after the performance.

Some felt the star could “barely walk” and barely stay upright while singing.

Many fans did their best to inform the public about Wynonna’s past issues with dizziness and even praised her for her powerful performance.

‘Dizziness. It’s like turning just by moving your head. “She really thought it through,” one tweet said.

Last month, Wynonna appeared to be in great spirits as she headlined a music industry mental health benefit in Nashville, more than a year after her mother Naomi Judd committed suicide at age 76. She struggled with mental health issues her entire life.

In contrast, Wynonna felt “really dizzy” during a concert in Dayton, Ohio in February and had to briefly stop the show to get help.

‘Wait a second. I’m really dizzy. Can someone please come up?’ she said in a TikTok video.

She continued, “I’m really dehydrated and I’m having a hard time, so wait a minute.”

Despite feeling dizzy, Wynonna initially refused to end the show on a stool, playfully encouraging the audience to “take lots of pictures” in case she fainted.

Finally she sat down.

Wynonna had to cancel her performance on New Year’s Eve 2023 on the day of the special event because she was “struggling with an extreme bout of dizziness.”

Weeks later, she addressed the cancellation, assuring fans that she had “worked so hard on my mental, physical and spiritual well-being.”

“I have an amazing team and I’m truly blessed and I’m broken and I’m working really hard on self-care, which isn’t selfish but sacred,” she wrote on Instagram.

She concluded the post with, “So I’m fine and the last thing I’ll say is I can’t let a good woman down for too long.”

The singer has been on tour since late October and is scheduled to perform across the country through December 1st.

The tour is a tribute to her 40-year music career.

She is scheduled to perform a concert in Antonio, Texas on Thursday, November 9th.

Last week, it was announced that Wynonna would serve as a “mega-mentor” on season 24 of NBC’s The Voice, according to Deadline.
