X Factor legend Chico, 52, shows off his bulging abs as he defends going shirtless live on GMB

Chico Slimani showed off his bulging abs live on Thursday’s episode of Good Morning Britain.

During a debate over whether it’s appropriate to wear just a bikini at an airport, the 52-year-old performer and wellness guru admitted he usually goes topless in public.

The fun-loving star, who is married to Daniyela Rakic, rose to fame on the ITV show X Factor in 2005, where he coined the catchphrase ‘It’s Chico Time!’

And as he lifts his top to reveal his rock hard waist. On live television, Chico asked GMB viewers, ‘Would you be offended if you saw this?’ It’s Chico time!’

Discussion: “Is beachwear just for the beach?” At Afua Hagan, Chico insisted, “We’re so uptight, we don’t know what’s right, and now this is a fight!”

Chico then lifted his top to show off his six-pack abs and told viewers, “I think we should let it out.” Let me know, would you be offended if you saw that? It’s Chico time.’

Afua insisted, “It’s fine for Chico to do this, but if I did, viewers would turn off the TV in an instant!”

When asked if he went shopping without wearing a top, he admitted, “Indeed I did.” But that’s life on an island. I’m used to wearing a sarong and a hat and going around topless.

“It just depends on the location.” Be respectful of the establishment. You don’t want to sweat all over the veggies. But if it’s a hot day…’

The debate followed news that Brazil’s Kine-Chan was banned from her flight when she arrived in just a bikini.

In 2015, Chico spoke about his health in an interview, saying, “You could say I’ve been a walking health and fitness advertiser, having spent my entire life in one form or another, from martial arts to natural bodybuilding …

“I used to give free advice to anyone who would listen, from diet to exercise tips, so it seemed like a progression to take it and do it on a larger scale.”

Unfortunately, in 2018, while driving in Bognor Regis, Chico suffered a massive stroke.

Chico previously commented in the follow-up to The X Factor, claiming that the show “exploits and abuses” aspiring singers.

The former goatherd said that while the show gave him a “platform” for other things, he believes singers are “naïve” if they think they have long careers in the music industry.

He explained: “It gave me a chance to make a good living, I’ve traveled around the country entertaining the masses, it’s become so much.”

“I can’t complain because once again I knew what it was: they’re using you or abusing you, and you’re using this platform to move on.”

Then he exclaimed, “They don’t care about you.” You are a commodity, you are as good as the money you will use to make it. That’s it.’

“They’re completely interchangeable and like I said, it’s a conveyor belt. ‘If you don’t do it, someone else will take your place and do it.’

An X Factor spokesman told Web at the time: “The duty of care to our participants is of the utmost importance to us.” “We take wellbeing very seriously and have taken steps to ensure they are supported.”

Since the X Factor made him famous, Chico has set up wellness retreats in Bali, Croatia and Portugal.
