Aram Quartet

XFactor returns on Thursday September 14th: at 9.15pm on Sky Uno (and streaming NOW) the first episode of Auditions of the new edition of the talent show hosted by Francesca Michielin will be broadcast. Morgan, already protagonist (and award-winning juror) of several editions, returns to the jury along with the reconfirmed Fedez, Ambra Angiolini and Dargen D’Amico. Do you remember the winners of all past editions? Here’s what happened to them, starting with the first winners: the Aram Quartet in 2008. After arriving ahead of Giusy Ferreri – at the time the talent show was broadcast on Rai 2 – they disbanded in 2010. One of the members, Antonio Maggio, won Sanremo Giovani in 2013 with “Mi servire Sapere” (his most recent work is the EP “Maggio”, released in March 2023), while Michele Cortese triumphed at the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile in 2015 with “Per Fortuna”. (He then appeared in several musicals and released the single “L’estate del 2003” last June under the stage name Cortese).

Matteo Becucci

The winner of the second edition is Matteo Becucci: he dedicated himself to the musical for many years and in 2014 he took part as a participant in the Tale e Quale show. In 2018 he returned to the program hosted by Carlo Conti as a singing coach.

Marco Mengoni

With “L’Essenziale” Marco Mengoni (winner of the third edition of Ten years later, in 2023, he won the event again with “Due vite”. On May 26th, the album “Materia (Prisma)”, consisting of eleven, was released Songs, including the single “Pazza musica” recorded with Elodie.

Nathalie

After winning the fifth edition of the talent show, Nathalie has released four albums. In 2015 he received the Lunezia Special Mention Award for the literary-musical value of the song “L’essere”.

Francesca Michielin

The very young Francesca Michielin, who has hosted the talent show since last year, triumphed at the first edition of Sky’s X Factor. Second place in Sanremo 2016, the same year she represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2020, her fourth album was released: “Feat (State of Nature)” and the following year, together with Fedez, she took second place at the 71st Sanremo Festival with the song “Chiamami per nome”. However, in 2022, Francesca published her first book, “The Heart is an Organ.” His latest album is “Cani Loose” (2023).

Chiara Galiazzo

After X Factor (won in Morgan’s team in 2012), Chiara Galiazzo took part in the Sanremo Festival three times. In 2013 – the same year she was selected as a TIM testimonial – she dueted with Mika on “Stardust”. In July 2020 he released his latest recording: “Bonsai” and in 2021 he was involved in creating the soundtrack for the television series “Un step from heaven 6 – The Guardians”.

Michele Bravi

Michele Bravi takes part in the seventh edition of X Factor, wins, but is quickly forgotten. He managed to restart his career first as a YouTuber, then in February 2017 he took part in the Sanremo Festival 2017 in the Big category with the song “Il diario degli ordini” and took fourth place. 2018 is the year of the hit “Nero Bali” sung with Elodie, but in November he was involved in a traffic accident in which a motorcyclist was killed and left the scene of the accident. He returns to television in May 2020 thanks to Amici Speciali, hosted by Maria de Filippi. His latest album “The geography of the dark” was released on January 29, 2021 after some postponements due to the pandemic. In 2022, Bravi took part in the Sanremo Festival 2022 with the song “Inverno dei fiore” in the “Big” category, ranking tenth . In 2023 he was a juror in the twenty-second edition of the Amici di Maria De Filippi evening event.

Lorenzo Fragola

Lorenzo Fragola, winner of 2014, has released four albums: “1995”, “Zero Gravity”, “Bengala” and “Crepacuore” (the latter was released in 2023 and was written with Mameli). The singer-songwriter has two performances in Sanremo, in 2015 (“We are equal”) and 2016 (“Infinite times”), and in 2017 he sang “The army of the selfie”, Takagi & Ketra with Arisa.

Gio Sada

The ninth edition of X Factor was won by Giovanni Sada, aka Giò Sada, aka Giosada. In 2020 he released the album “Terranova” under the name Gulliver. In 2021 he founded the punk rock band COMRAD, with which he released the EP “Let’s Stay Close”, followed in 2023 by another EP, “Placenta”.

Soul system

A few months after they were founded, they won X Factor 10. Even though we don’t hear much about them, they are still active: the single “Double Identity” was released in July 2021.

Lorenzo Licitra

In the 2017 final, Lorenzo Licitra beat the super favorite Måneskin, but then disappeared from the radar. In the years following the win, he released a few singles and in 2023 took part in the “Una voci per San Marino” competition to try to represent San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest. In a few days he will be among the protagonists of the new edition of the Tale e Quale show, which begins on Rai1 from Friday September 22nd.

Anastasius

The rapper Marco Anastasio, alias Anastasio, conquered the audience in 2018: winner of the twelfth edition of the program, he participated the following year as a guest in Sanremo and in 2020 as a competing singer (with “Rosso di rage”). His debut album: “Atto Zero” was released on February 7, 2020. After almost two years of musical silence, the rapper released his second album: “Mielemedicina” in 2022.

Sofia Tornambene

Today, Sofia Tornambene (winner of X Factor 2019 at just 17 years old) goes by her stage name: Kimono. His first EP “Dance Mania: Stereo Love” was released in 2021 and the single “Tempesta” was released on radio on April 28, 2023.

Casadilego

She convinced the jury and the audience during her first audition (which immediately circulated on the Internet): We are talking about Elisa Coclite alias Casadilego, who made it to the top step of the X-Factor podium in 2014 under the leadership of Hell Raton to climb 2020 In 2021, she returned to the talent show stage to duet with fellow legend Ed Sheeran. In 2022 she made her acting debut in the film “My Soul Summer”. He is currently part of the cast of the Italian version of David Bowie’s rock opera Lazarus, starring Manuel Agnelli.

Baltimore

The 2021 edition of X Factor was won by singer-songwriter Edoardo Spinsante, aka Baltimore, from the Hell Raton squad. His EP “Marecittà” was released in 2022.

French saints

The French Saints, a duo consisting of Alessandro De Santis and Mario Francese, won the 16th edition of X Factor. They then released the single “La noia” and have been touring Italy for the past few months.
