Less than a month after its launch in China, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is already announcing its release in France. Good news, it’s coming in less than a week.
The Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi gave us a detailed presentation of its latest member of its Xiaomi 13 series. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will therefore be released worldwide one month after its launch in China, on June 12 from 10 a.m. in France.
The price is still unknown
We already know a lot about this Xiaomi 13 Ultra and we will return a little later to its impressive technical characteristics for any photo enthusiast. On the other hand, the brand hasn’t deigned to share the retail price of the smartphone when it confirmed the smartphone’s release date. The Xiaomi 13 Pro, a high-end model before the release of the Ultra, is sold for around 1,300 euros. It would therefore hardly be surprising to find the Xiaomi 13 Ultra on the shelf for around €1,500.
We also don’t know in which configurations we will find the device. The model released in China is available with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, or 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Will France be entitled to the same configurations? In view of the models published so far, one would have to doubt it.
A classic smartphone, a powerful photophone
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra does not reinvent the wheel of the smartphone itself. The Chinese device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It also sports a 6.73-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with 3,200 x 1,440 pixels (522 ppi) that’s refreshed up to 120 Hz and 2,600 nits in some scenarios. Finally, the 5000 mAh battery is cable rechargeable at 90W.
On the other hand, the smartphone wants to conquer a place through the power of its photo block integrated into the back covered with vegan leather. We therefore find a main sensor of one inch with 50 MPX, a telephoto lens with 50 MPX f/1.8, a super telephoto lens with 50 MPX F/3.0 and an ultra wide angle lens, also with 50 MPX, F/1.8 . In short, a photo professional for whom the 13 Pro model was already a worthy representative.
