Xiaomi and MediaTek have teamed up to achieve the switch from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series CIVI to the Qualcomm Dimensity 8000 series Dimensity 8000 series instead. However, the third generation benefits from the latest version of the 8200 processor and not from an all-new SoC.
Today, this CIVI 3 could have appeared before its launch, which remains to be determined, since they are the latest devices with Android 13 processor, carrying what appears to be a new Xiaomi model number in the Geekbench database.
The “23046PNC9C” has the exact same core configuration and frequency profile as the 8200 of the vivo I2238 or iQOO Neo7 SE (with a maximum speed of 3.1 GHz as a highlight) in the same benchmark. However, if the former really does have the Ultra variant, it’s hard to see how its new suffix compares in this leak.
The latest device scored single and multi-core scores of 1148 and 3356, respectively: incredibly comparable in both respects to the Neo7 SE – which even slightly outperforms in some cases, despite its 8GB RAM versus 12 in the “CIVI 3”. .
So it’s up to the new mid-range device to prove that the “8200-Ultra” is more than just another potentially disappointing “update” to its release.
