R&B group Xscape isn’t disbanding, though LaTocha Scott has distanced himself from the band after a spat over a promoter, according to a new report.

The girl group, which includes Kandi Burruss, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle, LaTocha and Tamika Scott, sparked separation fears after fans noticed LaTocha, 49, was missing from a poster promoting an upcoming tour, reports TMZ.

Insiders told the site LaTocha is still a member of the group but has stepped down after a disagreement with the band.

The women, who will star in a new reality show due out next March, began experiencing conflict after deciding to go on a small tour and choosing a promoter who ended up having a falling out with LaTocha’s husband.

LaTocha, scheduled to join the tour, asked the group to drop the promoter, but eventually chose to back out when the others agreed to continue using him.

The group also reportedly turned down a request from LaTocha to go by another name, saying she would not join them. They previously passed Xscape 3 after Kandi stepped down to take a break.

Insiders claim LaTocha isn’t communicating with her sister Tamika or the rest of the group, but it looks like they’ll be reuniting at next weekend’s upcoming Soul Train Awards, where they’ll be honored as the Lady Of Soul.

Xscape will be the second group to be honored with the title, following SWV in 2017, according to Vibe.

Of the honor, Xscape said in a statement, “Given the importance Soul Train has for all of us, we are so grateful to be honored with the ‘Lady of Soul’ award this year.

“It’s going to be a great night and we can’t wait to see you all there.”

As for their upcoming television endeavors, the women will be teaming up with SWV for a multi-part limited series on Bravo.

The series follows the two groups reuniting after their Verzuz performance as they prepare for another big show that has the potential to revitalize their careers.

“The stakes are high for these powerhouse women as they navigate different stages of their lives, both personally and professionally,” reads a description on Deadline.

“From celebrating the power of collaboration and sisterhood to striving to overcome obstacles, there’s no shortage of wonder in watching two of the most iconic female R&B groups of the ’90s come together for this multi-part limited series.”

The series has the working title XSCAPE/SWV.
