Miss Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios, arrived in El Salvador last Friday to participate in the Miss Universe 2023 pageant. Their reception took place amid joy, music and dancing. And dozens of admirers came to the airport to express their admiration and support.
Among the people who wanted to receive the Nicaraguan beauty was also Yajairathe famous dancer from Libertad Park in San Salvador.

Wearing an outfit in blue and white, the colors of the flags of Nicaragua and El Salvador, the “folk dancer,” as she is called, greeted Sheynnis with kisses, hugs and, of course, her dancing.

Several videos of this moment went viral on social networks. Some users applauded the 75-year-old dancer’s action, while others criticized her as a “traitor” for not supporting the El Salvadoran candidate.

It was learned on YouTube that Yajaira was assigned to receive Miss Nicaragua, but she also used the moment to greet other contestants and take photos with them.

It is worth mentioning that on Friday the majority of the candidates arrived in El Salvador, including the representative of POrtugalMarina Machete, one of the two transsexual women who are fighting for the coveted crown this year.
Likewise, yesterday the site made it possible to purchase tickets for the final of the competition, which will take place on November 18th. Ticket costs are $2,000 for the premium section, $1,000 for the VIP section and $500 for the booths.
