On Sunday evening (29), Yasmin Brunet revealed attacks she received online and was outraged at being called a “social climber”. The model denied the allegations on Instagram and reiterated that she was “fed up” with the comments about her private life.
In recent days, Brunet’s name has been circulating in the media after she was criticized by Flávio Nakagima a friend of Yasmin’s ex Gabriel Medina over her alleged romance with MC Daniel. “This one is on stage more than the singers, Xamã, [Filipe] Ret, Luan [Santana], [MC] Daniel… That’s because I was in bad company back then [para Medina] because I understood it in general,” criticized Nakagima in a post on the Segue a Cami profile.
In another post about her love life, a netizen accused her of getting involved with MC Daniel to ruin her family. “Destroy one more family and then take the man’s inheritance for a change. Social climbers do it like that,” wrote the unknown person.
Yasmin then replied angrily: “My love, I have never destroyed a family, let alone ended up with male money and would not stay that way. Are you going to blame me for the decision of a grown man who has the ability to make his own decisions? As for money, I’ve been working since I was 13, thank God I’ve never needed anyone. Be careful what you read and even more careful what you say and believe to be true.”
The model made a point of disclosing the situation on her own profile, where she unleashed a new outburst about the conversation: “It’s quite annoying. There’s a lot of mental health to deal with.”

Brunet and Medina’s marriage was marked by a series of frictions with the athlete’s family. While the two were still together, Medina broke off relations with her mother Simone and her stepfather Charles Saldanha.
In an interview with journalist Leo Dias, Simone said that her relationship with Gabriel changed after he met Yasmin in 2020. “She came to spend a weekend and never left his house. You are in a controlling relationship. He doesn’t even talk to his sister anymore. She took him away from everyone. She decides what he should eat. I never went to Gabriel’s house without an invitation or warning. He had lived apart from me for seven years. That’s why we’re not talking to each other at the moment,” he said.
Yasmin and Gabriel married in a discreet ceremony in the Maldives that same year. However, the relationship was shortlived, as in January 2022, the model’s advisor confirmed that the marriage had failed.
