Yemen's Houthi rebels announced that the group had officially declared the United States and the United Kingdom enemy countries because of their support for Israel. NBC reports it.
Houthi President Mahdi Al-Mashat has ratified a law that stipulates that he will negotiate with both Western countries “according to the principle of confrontation.” The news comes as the Houthis continue to express their support for the Palestinians and attack ships in the Red Sea believed to have ties to Israel. Many countries have condemned the Houthi attacks and their impact on global trade. The US and Britain responded with attacks on the group at sea and in Yemen.
