While the year 2023 spoiled fighting game fans with Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6, 2024 should start well thanks to Tekken 8. The demo, highly anticipated by fans of the game, is already available on PS5.

A trailer that focuses on the story
Less solid in the esports scene than Street Fighter 6, less entertaining in terms of pure fun than Mortal Kombat 1, Tekken 8 aims to stand out from the competition through its characters and storyline. While the story has always been a more or less central element of the saga, the eighth episode seems to want to step up a gear. Tekken 8 demo already available for PS5

Actually, at the end of the video, Bandai Namco announces that the Tekken 8 demo is now officially available for PlayStation 5. If you own the latest Sony console, all you need to do is connect to the PlayStation Store to pick it up before testing the waters.
PC and Xbox gamers can rest assured that while they'll still have to wait a bit, they'll be able to try out Tekken 8 soon. Bandai Namco has actually announced that the demo will be available for PC and Xbox Series starting December 21st, something to have a little fun before Christmas.
