A woman who claims she was raped by Russell Brand against a wall in his Los Angeles home wrote a letter to the comedian telling him: “You have completely destroyed me.”
The alleged attack is one of several claims by women accusing him of abusive and predatory behavior, including rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse, between 2006 and 2013.
Brand “completely” denies the allegations and insists that all of his relationships have been consensual.
The businesswoman, who called the Times Nadia to protect her identity, told the publication she was committed to improving women’s safety and was “pissed off” that he had cultivated his image as a wellness influencer even though “I “I know the demon behind it.”
Nadia, who claims Brand raped her without a condom when she went to his LA home in July 2012, said she wrote the star a letter to him after considering criminal or civil proceedings and ultimately deciding against it had.
In her letter to Brand, originally intended for her and her therapist, Nadia wrote: “Do you know what you have done to me?” Through my body? My emotions and my body are turned upside down…You scared the crap out of me on July 1st.’

She continued, “I thought I would be strong enough to fight someone off in any situation.” But if it’s someone you know, don’t expect to be put in that position. You have completely destroyed me. ‘
After the alleged attack, Nadia said she went to a rape treatment center – which she told Brand in the letter. “I didn’t see the fun-loving guy in front of me,” she wrote. “I saw a man who couldn’t control himself, and the word NO is more of a challenge than a command.”
Nadia, who was in her 30s at the time, claims she exchanged numbers with Brand at a party before being invited to his house in June 2012, where they then had consensual sex.
Brand later asked her to visit his house again in the early morning of July 1 after he sent her a text message during an earlier conversation suggesting she “bring a friend.”
She then met with Brand again at his home on the morning of July 1, claiming the comedian raped her against a wall after she told him to “get out” several times.
When she arrived at his house, she said the door was unlocked and she went straight in. She added: “He comes running out of the bedroom naked.” And I’m kind of surprised. I have a bag on my shoulder, a little dress and a coat over it.’
Nadia claimed Brand pushed her against a wall and kissed her. She says he then told her that “a friend” was waiting in his bedroom to join them.
She said, “I’m like, no, that’s not happening, I don’t care, that’s not happening, we’re not doing that.”
Nadia claimed that Brand then raped her without a condom. When he finished, she pushed him away and ran to the door, she claimed.
She said Brand blocked the door to prevent her from leaving and told her to “calm down.” She said he eventually moved out of the way when she asked to go to the bathroom.
Texts sent by Brand later that evening, seen by the Times, said: “I’m sorry.” That was crazy and selfish. I hope you can forgive me, I know you are a lovely person. X.’ He reportedly tried to call her at 3:51 a.m. to which Nadia did not respond.
Nadia said she didn’t respond to Brand’s text until 10:59 a.m., telling Brand that he “scared the hell out of me.” She added: “If a girl says NO, it means ‘Do I have to go and get tested?’
Brand responded that he was “very sorry” and told Nadia, “You don’t need to get tested.”
Nadia went to a rape treatment center later that same day and underwent therapy there for five months, according to documents obtained by The Times.
Before the allegations were made public, Brand shared a YouTube video in which he said he had received two “extremely disturbing letters” from a “mainstream media TV company” and a newspaper.
Addressing his fans, the comedian said he had been accused of “a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks that are untrue.”
Russell Brand’s full comments:
Hello, you awakening miracles. Now, this isn’t the usual type of video we do on this channel where we criticize, attack and undermine the news in all its corruption, because in this story I am the news.
I have received two extremely disturbing letters – or a letter and an email – one from a mainstream media television company, one from a newspaper detailing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid things like mine Community celebrations should be stopped and I should not be able to attack the mainstream media narrative on this channel.
But amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, there are some very serious claims that I absolutely refute. These accusations relate to a time when I was in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies, and as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.
During this time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were completely consensual. I was always transparent back then, almost too transparent, and I am the same now.
And seeing how that transparency has morphed into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me wonder if there is another agenda at play.
Especially when we’ve seen coordinated media attacks before, like Joe Rogan daring to take a drug that the mainstream media doesn’t approve of, and we saw a barrage of headlines from media outlets around the world saying the same thing language used.
I’m aware that you’ve been saying in the comments for some time: “Watch out Russell, they’re after you,” “You’re getting too close to the truth,” “Russell Brand didn’t kill himself.”
I know there was a flood of articles a year ago: Russell Brand is a conspiracy theorist; Russell Brand is the right wing.
I know that newspapers make phone calls and send letters to people I know. It has long been clear to me, or at least it seems to me, that there is a serious and concerted agenda to control these kinds of spaces and these kinds of voices.
I need my voice along with your voice. I don’t mind if they use my books and stand-up to talk about my past promiscuous sexual behavior. What I seriously refute are these very, very serious criminal allegations.
It is also worth noting that there are witnesses whose statements directly contradict the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct, apparently as part of what I believe is a coordinated attack.
Because the allegations are so serious, I don’t want to go into detail here, but I feel like I’m being attacked, and obviously they work very closely together.
We will of course look into this matter because it is very, very serious.
In the meantime, I want you to stay close to me, stay awake, but more importantly, if you can stay free.
