With a season 4 in two parts and full of twists, the You series is back in force on Netflix. Fans have been passionate about the new adventures of psychopath Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley).
In this new episode round, he escapes his past by living a different life in London as Jonathan Moore. The serial stalker and serial killer made a name for himself as a professor of literature in London’s high society. But everything changes after a series of murders that only target the rich.
Joe sets out to investigate this serial killer who is overshadowing and tracking him down, but that was without counting a major twist that shuffled all the cards in the series and heralded an exciting sequel for Joe.

And that sequel will see the light of day as Netflix just announced that a Season 5 of You is in production. And it was Joe himself – or rather, via multiple text messages – that shared the good news on social media.
Even better, Netflix’s post announces season 5 of You for 2024! Fans will therefore not have to wait long to discover these new episodes. But the platform is also sending another message: This fifth season of the series carried by Penn Badgley will also be the last!
What will Joe have in store for us for these final episodes? His interpreter already knows, as he revealed to us in an interview:
“The creators told me a few years ago – well before Season 4 – how the show would end. […] If there is a season 5 the action would pick up where we left off. Joe has power. And that’s a scary thought. It opens up a lot of opportunities, but it also means his fall will be harder. If there’s season 5, it’ll be interesting!”
