“You’re sick, Julia,” says the message. “I’m selling the house and neither of us answer the phone when you call for everything you’ve done and for the embarrassment you’ve caused me.”

In the text, the woman claims to have photos and videos that contradict Julia’s version. In response, the young woman fired, “Now I’m crazy.”

The story told by Julia came to light through a video shared on the Instagram profile iammadelemccann (I’m Madeleine McCann, in literal translation).

She also shared a photo of the composite portrait of an alleged Madeleine kidnapper in Portugal, who Julia claims looks exactly like the man who abused her.

“This person is very similar to the pedophile who abused me!! I need to know the truth,” Julia wrote in the caption of a post pinned to her profile.

The young woman attempts to contact the McCann family for a DNA test. She reports that she went to the police in England and Poland, the country where she currently lives, but was ignored.

Most of her publications on the internet indicate physical resemblances between her and Madeleine and the missing girl’s parents.

Case Madeleine

Shortly before her 4th birthday, Madeleine McCann disappeared on May 3rd from Praia da Luz, a resort town in the Algarve tourist region where she was vacationing with her family.

The case shocked the whole world at the time and remains unsolved. Shortly before the act was considered statutebarred, the Portuguese public prosecutor introduced a perpetrator.

The man, who is serving a prison sentence in Portugal for raping a 72yearold American woman in 2005, had already been identified by German investigators in 2020 as the prime suspect in the British woman’s murder.
