The first human stronger than Tetris

This week we talked a lot about Willis Gibson: He is the first human faster than Tetris. With Nintendo's NES console, released in 1983, he managed to crash the game, something only artificial intelligence (AI) had previously been able to do. At 13 years old, Willis, also known as “Blue Scuti,” is well-known in the world of esports and regularly streams his video games. To break this record, this American used the rolling technique: That's a factUse all fingers on the controller at the same time instead of just one or two to be faster.

Gabriel Attal becomes Prime Minister
On January 8, the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, appointed a new Prime Minister: Gabriel Attal. Until then he was Minister for National Education. It was he who introduced the unified examination in the school, as well as the system of replacing absent teachers with other teachers from the same institution. At the age of 34 he became thehe youngest prime minister the Fifth Republic. And also the first to say he's gay. He must now announce the names of the future members of his government.
A ceremony took place in Paris on January 9th. Élisabeth Borne, who had been Prime Minister until then, officially gave way to Gabriel Attal.
Start of the European Handball Championship
The European Men's Handball Championship began on January 10th in Germany. And France won their first game 39 to 29 against North Macedonia! See you this Sunday, January 14th for the France-Switzerland game. Then January 16th for France-Germany. The French team is one of the favorites! But we also have to keep an eye on Denmark and Sweden. And this year the best team will qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. France is already qualified as the Olympic Games will be held on its territory.
