The account of Alexei Navalny's widow, Yulia Navalnaya, has been blocked on the social media platform X.
It is unclear why her account was suspended by the social network, formerly Twitter, owned by Elon Musk.
“Account suspended,” a note on her account reads.
Earlier today, on her X account, Ms. Navalnaya called on the Kremlin to “return Alexei's body and let him be buried with dignity.”
This also came after she vowed to continue her husband's fight against the Kremlin – and in a powerful nine-minute video accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of killing the country's opposition leader.
In the video posted on YouTube on Monday and directed by Navalny's official spokeswoman Kira Yarmysh
“They cowardly and meanly hide his body, refuse to give it to his mother and lie miserably while waiting for the trail of poison to disappear,” Ms. Navalnaya said.
She suspected that her husband may have been killed with a Novichok-style nerve agent.
The Kremlin rejected the allegations as “unfounded” and “outrageous.”
Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “These are absolutely unfounded, outrageous accusations against the Russian head of state.”
In her video statement, Ms. Navalnaya said: “By killing Alexei, Putin killed half of me, half of my heart and half of my soul.”
“But I still have the other half and it shows me that I have no right to give up.”
“I will continue the work of Alexei Navalny,” she said.
Ms. Yarmysh's account remained unaffected.
Mr Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation tagged Mr Musk in a post on X and asked him to “please explain exactly which rules Ms Navalnaya has broken”.
