Yvette Nicole Brown is officially off the market.
The Community star, 52, announced on Tuesday that she is engaged to actor Anthony Davis while co-hosting “The View.”
“I have news and I heard that The View is the place to announce things like this. “I’m engaged,” she gushed.
When she made her big announcement, she held up her left hand to show off her diamond engagement ring.
She continued, “And he’s here! He is here! “That’s Tony,” pointing to her fiancé who was sitting in the audience.

On “The View,” she held up her hand to show off her ring
And Anthony couldn't contain his excitement as he gushed: “She's just the most beautiful person in the world.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin said: “You're a lucky man,” before asking the couple how they met.
The couple met many years ago but only got back together relatively recently and that's when sparks flew.
“We’ve known each other since we were 20,” Brown said.
“Years ago we attended an acting class together at church. By the way, he's a great actor. Anthony Davis, everyone. “He was married at the time and we were platonic friends, and then we lost touch for a few years.”
The Drake and Josh alum explained that Davis came forward in 2021 after her mother's death.
“Then he found me,” she said, adding, “After his divorce.”
The Act Your Age star feels her late mother Anthony guided her to her.
“I feel like my mom and his mom kind of did it,” she explained. “He's just wonderful…he's a nice man, guys.” “He's a nice, kind, loving man.”

She also showed off her ring on December 9th when she appeared with Tom Bergeron at MPTF's Lights, Camera, Take Action! Supervision of Hollywood's Crews Telethon
And the blushing bride-to-be revealed the clever way Davis proposed.
She wore the ring in early November
They were in Ohio, where her high school, Warrensville Heights High School, had renamed its auditorium after her.
“We celebrated that, and then.” [Davis] gave me one [lottery scratch card] and the scratch said, “Will you marry me?” she said.
“I thought I was going to win some money and I won a man,” she joked.
She has been wearing the stone for some time.
In early November, she attended the American Valor: A Salute to Our Heroes event at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.
And at the 2023 End Well Symposium at the Skirball Cultural Center in LA on November 16, she flashed the stone again.
