Forward Trevor Zegras thrilled the crowd with a “Michigan”-style goal on Saturday, but what few knew was that he further stunned a young fan battling stage four cancer.
On his Instagram account, Quincy Rohrbach told his touching story from the week before Christmas. Supported by an organization – the Morgan Adams Foundation – whose goal is to raise funds to fight the disease, she was able to meet her favorite player as well as other Anaheim Ducks colors. In fact, she attended a team practice and game, as well as shared some skates with some of the club's hockey players and received signed items.

However, Rohrbach had no idea that Zegras would pay her some attention after he scored a spectacular goal against the Seattle Kraken in his first matchup after a 20-game absence due to a neck injury.
“Quinceey!” It's Trevor. It was for you,” he wrote to her in a text message that ended with the symbol of a heart made of hands.
I met Quincy Rohrbach through the Morgan Adams Foundation. She is a beautiful young lady with stage four cancer. Her favorite hockey player is Trevor Zegras. So Trevor invited Quincy to a practice during Christmas week, where she was showered with gifts. And then Trevor did this… pic.twitter.com/VQoxs0HNUm

“He dedicated his goal to me last night. She is the most wonderful person there is,” the supporter then wrote on her social networks.
Zegras has two goals and as many assists in 14 games this season.
