(ANSA) – LONDON, FEBRUARY 16 – “Russian attacks are already taking place from different directions”. Vladimir Zelenskyi told the BBC, stressing that the planned Russian spring offensive has already begun. Zelenskyi added that he believes Ukrainian forces can continue to resist Russia’s advance until they are able to launch a counteroffensive, although he reiterated his calls for more military aid from the West.
“Of course, modern weapons hasten peace. Guns are the only language Russia understands,” he added in an interview with veteran war correspondent John Simpson. (HAND).
