Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told CBS News 60 Minutes that earlier this week he saw only “death, only death” while touring the city of Bucha.

In the interview, which will be broadcast from Sunday, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine in its fight against Russia is defending “a person’s ability to live in the modern world”.

“They say we defend western values. I always say, what are western values? Someone who lives in the US or Europe doesn’t like children either?” said Zelenskyy.
