Zelenskyj will deliver a speech before the UN Security Council

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday.

“Zelenskyy will address the Council during his meeting on Ukraine after his visit to Bucha,” the British UN mission reported.

The UK Presidency has said the truth about Russia’s war crimes will be exposed and Putin’s war exposed for what it really is.

Zelenskyy’s participation will come the day after his visit to the city of Bucha, where Ukrainian troops encountered a trail of bodies after Russian troops withdrew from the city.

The United States reported that it wants the UN General Assembly to remove Russia from the UN Human Rights Council.

“Russia’s participation in the Human Rights Council is a farce,” said Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield. “And he’s wrong, which is why we think it’s about time the UN General Assembly voted to expel him.”

Thomas-Greenfield justified his application for expulsion from Russia with allegations from Ukraine that Russian troops had killed dozens of civilians in the city of Bucha.

The newspaper The New York Times published some satellite images that appear to contradict the Russian version of the Bucha massacre.

Russia has denied that its soldiers executed civilians in Bucha before withdrawing, and its ambassador to the UN said its military left that city and only days later the bodies turned up in the streets.

The New York newspaper published some images taken by a satellite of the specialized company Maxar Technologies, based on the 11 size of a human body” on a single street named Yablonska.

The newspaper ordered its visual investigation unit to compare these images with others earlier and later, until concluding that these bodies had appeared on the streets between March 9 and March 11.
