“I am grateful for Italy’s support in the military, political, economic and cultural fields. For over 20 months, Ukraine has been fighting for its own survival, the survival of Europe and the world. Russia’s aggression has caused damage to the infrastructure, the economy and our people.” We are fighting, but the path is very difficult. That is why the support of our friends, including Italy, is very important and allows us to look to the future and think about reconstruction today.” This was said by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba at the first public meeting of the Laboratory for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, which was organized by the Triennale Milano and Maxxi in Milan.
“Rebuilding Ukraine – emphasized the minister – is important not only to rebuild what was destroyed, but also to create a completely new economy and build a new Ukraine. The idea of reconstruction, of rebirth, is the beginning of a new path.” and from this a new Ukraine and a new Europe will emerge and Landes.”
“Italy – he added – is really helping us a lot in rebuilding after the war. I am grateful to the Italian partners for the so-called Fast Recovery Plan and Italy’s willingness to deepen cooperation during its G7 presidency. Italy has taken over.” I am sure that this will help us restore cultural heritage in other regions as well, because Italy is a world leader when it comes to protecting cultural heritage. The restoration and reconstruction of Ukraine is important for all of Europe, because a stable and prosperous Ukraine will be an important ally, including on a commercial level, for European countries and all this will favor the growth of our Europe.” And so he concluded: “Let us work together to ensure a better future.”
