Zendaya's last post, posted on January 1, was to promote her upcoming film The Challengers. “Challengers April 26th,” she wrote. “I wish you all a happy new year✨” Other celebrities have removed all their Instagram posts or unfollowed everyone when they wanted to announce a new project to arouse curiosity and create hype.

The couple themselves were spotted over the holidays attending the musical The Little Big Things in London's West End just before Christmas. They posed for a photo with star Malinda Parris backstage Parris shared online. She called Holland and Zendaya “the CUTEST.”

Zendaya spoke to ELLE last summer about the public interest in her relationship with Holland. When asked if publicly agreeing to her dating made it easier to accept the attention, she said: “I accept that parts of my life will be public.” I can't be a human being, live my life and love the person, that I love. But I also have control over what I share. It's about protecting peace and letting things take care of themselves, but also not being afraid of existence. You can not hide. That's no fun either. I’m navigating it now more than ever.”

She even cited the time she was filming The Challengers as the moment she realized how much attention she was getting. There was “a profound change after the last Spider-Man and the last season of Euphoria,” she said. “I used to be able to get away with going somewhere and getting in and out. But in Boston [last spring], I would end up going straight back home because it was really overstimulating. Everyone was going to a bar or something and I thought, 'I'd love to do that, but I think I might ruin everyone's night.' 'Cause it's just not going to be any fun once I get there.'”
