Zurich, terrapiattista no vax kidnapped vaccine expert: killed by police

by Claudio Del Frate

Victim of the kidnapping was Dr. Christoph Berger, head of the vaccination campaign in Switzerland. A sum of money had been demanded for his release. The kidnapper’s girlfriend was also killed in the flash

A fanatical NoVax and Terrapiattista kidnapped the President of the Swiss Commission responsible for the vaccination campaign and held him hostage for a few hours. The man was later killed by police. The incident happened a few days ago near Zurich, but the police kept it a secret until Sunday, when doctor Cristoph Berger, who was discharged unharmed, himself revealed the mishap: Last week I was the victim of a kidnapping, which he shared in a letter.

dr Berger, 59, doctor and university professor, a figure who became popular in Switzerland during the pandemic: he had a comparable role in Italy to that of President of Cts Locatelli; the kidnapping happened on March 31, a day before the Bernese government lifted most of the Covidprevention obligations (no more masks and green passports) on April 1. The news was originally leaked on April 8, but the Zurich court banned the publication of any details on the matter.

The authorities had limited themselves to reporting that two people were killed in an exchange of fire with the police in Wallisellen ZH when an attempt was made to arrest a person in an apartment. The two victims are the NoVax kidnapper and his girlfriend, a twentyeightyearold Swiss woman; The latter would have been fatally struck by her companion’s weapon.

Silence on the prisoner’s identity until Christopher Berger himself revealed details of what happened. The kidnapping would have taken place on March 31 and would have ended within a few hours. During this time I was asked for a large sum of money, but no reference was made to my business; I knew the person who was holding me hostage, threatened the doctor with death if the request was not complied with in a short time. The hostage was released with a promise that the money would be delivered. I immediately contacted the police, who have been protecting me and my family ever since, Berger said. On the evening of April 6, the police showed up at the kidnapper’s house to arrest him, and it was under these circumstances that the shooting was triggered: the Flat Earth worker was blocked in the parking lot below the house as he was driving his BMW after returned home.

The police did not provide any information on the identity of the attacker: it was only leaked that it was a 38yearold German citizen. He joined the Flat Earth movement, believing that the earth is indeed flat, he supports conspiracy theories, he had attended No Vax demonstrations. A 44yearold accomplice was arrested a few hours after the tragic end of the story: together with the kidnapper, they had organized processions and demonstrations of denial against Covid; on March 20, 2021, he had already been arrested during one of these initiatives in which 10,000 people had taken part. In addition to supporting FlatEarthers, the group was a Holocaust and Twin Towers attack denier.

The judiciary has initiated an investigation, which should also shed light on the behavior of the agents. Meanwhile, the life of the kidnapper and the other detainees is investigated: both are partners in a startup that has encountered financial difficulties in recent months. Several weapons are said to have been confiscated from the dead man’s house.

A few days ago, Switzerland was shaken by another tragic episode that had some conspiracy theorists as protagonists: a whole family (father, mother, aunt and two children aged 15 and 8) had thrown themselves from the balcony on the seventh floor of an apartment in Montreux. The family had been barricaded in the house for months in a gesture of a police check at the home as the two boys were not going to school.
