Actor Kevin Costner is renting out his 160-acre Aspen, Colorado home for a whopping $36,000 a night.
The property, known as Dunbar Ranch, named in honor of his Dances With Wolves character, Lieutenant John Dunbar, is described as “the ultimate luxury retreat” and is just minutes from downtown Aspen.
The mansion features 12 bedrooms, eight bathrooms with views of Independence Pass and Aspen Mountain. In case of problems, caretakers are on site around the clock.

Outdoors, the venue features a baseball field, a sled hill, and the ability to comfortably accommodate up to 27 people spread across three buildings consisting of a main house, a lake house, and a river house.
For the winter months, the ranch offers a private ice rink, tubing track, and dog sled rides, while horseback riding, hiking, fishing, and other activities are available in the warmer months.
The property also includes a lake where kayaks and paddleboards can be sailed.
The nightly rate of $36,000 may sound like a lot, but when split across a full houseload of guests, it would be comparable to booking multiple rooms at a local five-star hotel in Aspen.

Costner, 68, bought the land in 2000 before it was transformed into a scenic paradise.
He currently plays ranch owner John Dutton on the acclaimed anti-wake western series Yellowstone. Costner won a Golden Globe award earlier this month.
The win marked the show’s first-ever Golden Globe nomination — which has been dubbed “anti-woke” — after multiple snubs. The popular series, which first aired in 2018, has aired 47 episodes over five seasons.
During this time it also received an Emmy nomination (2021 for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program); and received his first two Critics Choice Awards nominations that year (for Best Drama Series and for Kelly Reilly for Best Actress in a Drama Series).
Though he still makes frequent use of Dunbar Ranch, the Yellowstone schedule means he spends a large portion of his time at other people’s ranches in Montana, though he typically rents out his home in Aspen during the winter months.
The property went up for rent last week and is listed by Amy Mottier with Coldwell Banker Mason Morse.
