E.Jean Caroll, who was defamed and sexually assaulted by Donald Trump in civil courtwould consider launching a new defamation lawsuit against the former US President after he made remarks during his tenure City hall was aired yesterday on CNN.

Those looking to retake the White House in 2024 have once again attacked the author and former journalist, calling her allegations of sexual assault “false” and “completely fabricated.”
“I don’t know her. I’ve never met her. I don’t know who she is,” he told journalist Kaitlan Collins when she asked him about his trial.
In 2019, E. Jean Carrol accused Donald Trump of raping her in a luxury store fitting room in the 1990s.
These allegations provoked a violent reaction from the former president and prompted the former journalist to launch a defamation lawsuit. She also initiated civil proceedings to seek recognition of her rape.
The New York Times reported Thursday that Ms. Carrol’s attorney transcribed statements by Donald Trump.
“It’s stupid, disgusting and vicious. It hurts,” said the lady.

Regarding a new lawsuit for defamation, E. Jean Carrol states that “everything is on the table”.
“It is certain that we are analyzing this possibility with great attention. We will weigh the pros and cons and make a decision very soon,” she concludes.
The ex-president was found liable this week for sexual assault and defamation. He must pay E. Jean Carrol $5 million in compensation.
