Mae Muller and Hannah Waddingham were in high spirits as they took the stage ahead of the live finale at Friday morning’s Eurovision rehearsals.
The 25-year-old British competitor literally raised her country’s flag as she hopped around wearing the Union Jack.
Mae, who struggled with her voice and received vocal rest this week, looked back at her best while practicing her performance.
Speaking about feeling under pressure, the singer said: “Sam Ryder wins, hosts Ukraine and ends up last.”
“These are all things I could freak out about.” But they’re amazing experiences, so I’m going to look at them positively. I can’t wait to get out of here, it’s exciting.”

Speaking of hosting Liverpool on behalf of war-torn Ukraine, she said: “Eurovision is proof that we can stick together as people and whatever the result tomorrow night, I will be very proud look back on it.”
Mae looked incredible in a black jumpsuit with a sheer top and a pair of heeled boots.
She wore her raven locks in loose beachy waves and opted for a light layer of makeup.
Mae was joined on stage by a choreographer, who gave her directions as she rehearsed for the upcoming performance.
Of her post, Mae said, “I wrote the song a few days before I knew about Eurovision.”
She continued, “So I looked at the song again, put my Eurovision Song Contest hat on and thought it was a way to connect with the audience.” How can I share an intimate moment with 200 million people create and here’s how.
And speaking about herself as an LGBTQ ally, she went on to say, “Every show, every tour, I want it to feel like a safe place, and I feel like Eurovision is exactly that.” I go to gay bars and gay clubs all the time and have a lot of fun so it’s only right that I return the favor.”
Meanwhile, 48-year-old Hannah strutted onto the stage alongside fellow presenter Graham Norton, 60, as they perfected their presentation duties ahead of the finale.

After this week’s dress rehearsals, Mae was forced to rest her voice by her singing teacher.
Mae shared a photo with her fans on Twitter on Wednesday wearing a sign that reads “singing rest” around her neck.
Appearing disappointed at the news, she explained, “As someone who can’t believe their life depends on it, I’m not feeling well x.”
“My singing teacher literally had to make me wear a sign to keep my mouth shut. I’m so embarrassed, oh my god.”

Eurovision fans went berserk in Thursday’s semifinals as she showed a totally unexpected talent in the second round of the semifinals.
She stunned audiences around the world when, in fluent French, she explained the rules of the competition at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena.
Her co-moderators Alesha Dixon and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina, 32, read from the teleprompter in English.
Impressed by Hannah’s skills, shocked home viewers flocked to Twitter, where they heaped praise on her.
One joked: “Hannah Waddingham speaks French. Maybe I’m not gay.”
Another wrote: “People train their entire lives to be as effortlessly charismatic and personable as Hannah Waddingham #eurovision.”

31 countries compete in two semi-finals, 10 of which reach the final.
Last year’s winner, Ukraine, automatically advanced to the Grand Finals alongside the Big Five consisting of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain and Italy.
