Climb at a demonstration of animal rights activists in Wiesbaden (Hesse)!
It happened in the afternoon in front of a circus venue in the Biebrich district of Wiesbaden. At 2:15 pm, the police received an emergency call: activists were blocking the entrance to the circus so that visitors could not attend the show without being disturbed.

According to police, at least three people were slightly injured. Officers checked on protesters, who then left the area.

Vegan Raffaela Raab (26) also claims to have been there. “I'm still upset,” she tells BILD and describes the situation from her perspective: “Today we were at a circus in Wiesbaden and, among other things, they wanted a lion to perform.”
And further: “The circus has probably been criticized several times for not following animal welfare guidelines. That’s why we did the demo.”

“We held a registered and approved demonstration right at the entrance to the site, where cars entered and left,” he states. Animal rights activist. And further: “We are not the climate glue that blocked the way. We inform all visitors that by purchasing a ticket to the animal circus, they are supporting the enslavement of the animals there.”
Apparently it was precisely this “clarification” that angered the circus employees, who allegedly attacked the activists. Raab continued: “It was a very aggressive atmosphere from the beginning. A traffic controller, who can also be seen in the videos wearing a red costume, and two other employees, spoke from the beginning about how visitors should gain momentum in their cars to run us over. They also became repeatedly violent towards us.”

The activist describes it differently, saying: “We also have material damage exceeding 1000 euros. There were two screens, a TV and a battery. The battery weighs three or four kilos and the controller picked up the battery from the ground and hit another activist in the back two or three times. He went to the hospital with several bruised ribs, broken lips, a crooked nose and a bruised jaw, but thank God he didn't break anything.”
