According to Variety, the Grammy Award-nominated actor signed on to appear in the film last February.
The feature focuses on a designer sneaker who must travel to New York City in search of his sister after she is stolen by a collector.
In addition to Bailey, the feature film will also star actors such as Anthony Mackie and Martin Lawrence.
The expected release date of Sneaks has not yet been revealed to the public.
The actress will also star in Girl From The North Country, an adaptation of the musical of the same name.
The project focuses on the owners of a guest house who are trying to survive the Great Depression.
Girl From The North Country also contains nearly twenty of Bob Dylan's most famous songs, including Hurricane, Like a Rolling Stone and Forever Young.
