Before Jones made the move to Canada, he spent a few seasons in the NFL. He was part of the Houston Texans (2016-2017), Pittsburgh Steelers (2018-2019) and Dallas Cowboys (2019-2020) organizations.
The free agent market opens next Tuesday in the CFL. However, players without contracts for the 2024 season can negotiate with county teams at this time.
