There are plenty of rare cutscenes in Baldur's Gate 3, and players have just discovered a hidden flashback to Shadowheart's past in Act 1.

Baldur's Gate 3 is full of secrets that often provide insight into the companions' past. For example, the discovery of Tara, Gayle's Tressym, in the first part of Act 3. There are also others that foreshadow how the characters' pasts come into play later in the adventure.

The player also suggested getting a high approval rating from Shadowheart before triggering this scene. Otherwise, she will not describe how she felt after receiving the book and will dismiss all questions about it.

“I only saw the cutscene from the book once, and I never understood why I couldn't get it again. That's because I saved Barcus before collecting my Headband of Intelligence. » remarked one player.
