According to data published by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, the number of patients in hospitals due to the corona virus rose from 1438 to 1367. There are 53 people in the intensive care unit, one fewer than the previous day.

Five new deaths have been added to the death toll. We now regret 15,354 COVID-19-related deaths since it emerged in Quebec.

The Health Ministry is also reporting 454 new cases since the previous report. Authorities have identified more than 1.06 million cases of infection since the pandemic began. However, the number of cases reported is not representative of the situation as access to screening centers is restricted to priority clients.

According to website VaccinTrackerQC, 10,469 doses of vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours, mostly second booster doses.

The percentage of people 5 years and older who received a first dose is 91.47%. It is also reported that 87.77% of the Quebec population received a second dose and 59,247% received a booster dose.
