Valerie Bragg became the first Islander to be dumped on Sunday’s episode of Love Island USA after a singles picnic beach date with Tyler Radziszewski.
The 23-year-old tattooed Costa Rican brunette left the Santa Barbara, California mansion after Tyler, 23, of Cleveland, decided to start dating Sereniti Springs, 28, of Clovis, California.
“You’re single now and kicked off the island,” read the text message sent to Valerie after Tyler made his decision.

Valerie quickly packed up and immediately left the villa after hugging each other goodbye.
Jesse Bray, 27, of Springfield, Ohio, told Valerie he was sorry if he continued her while also pursuing Deborah ‘Deb’ Chubb, 26, of Dallas.
“It sucks to see her go home,” Jesse admitted in a confessional after earlier arguing with Val about Deb.
Deb, meanwhile, was nice to Val when she left, admitting she respected her for “being outspoken and knowing what she wants.”

The rest of the islanders gave Val a round of applause as she left, lugging her luggage on wheels.
Valerie said in a confessional that she was sad that the experience ended so quickly, but she was leaving with friendships and lots of growth.
“I feel like a new woman. And I look forward to sharing everything I’ve learned from this experience. I’m still looking for one. I’m single so guys aren’t afraid to slip on my DMs,” Valerie added.

The sixth episode of The Peacock Show began with Val stating she was over Jesse after admitting he would pick Deb if there was a recoupling.
“I’m damn real. Don’t lie to me,” Val complained to Deb.
Deb then walked over to Jesse, who revealed he felt relieved when Val was out of the picture before they both kissed.

Sereniti told Sydney Paight, 22, of Houston, that she was attracted to Tyler and that the feeling between them was mutual.
Valerie then chatted with Tyler, who told her she was a “great girl” and a “catch.”

The next morning, Tyler told the boys that he had his eye on Valerie and Sereniti.

Tyler later received a text message telling him to go on a date and pick the first girl to leave the mansion.
He chose Val for his first date and they enjoyed a picnic on the beach together.

Andy Voyen, 23, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Sydney spoke to each other, and he admitted things felt forced between him and Mady McLanahan, 26, of Dallas.
Sydney was dating Isaiah Campbell, 21, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but said in a confessional that she wanted to explore Andy a little more.

Jesse chose Deb before Andy mixed things up by choosing Sydney.

Valerie’s departure was followed by a clip showing Chazz Bryant, 21, of Clifton, New Jersey, arriving with his sister Bria Bryant, 24.
Love Island USA will return on the Peacock streaming service on Monday.
